GIRLIE RULES TO KEEP A GUY KEEN

1) If you're chatting with a guy for the first time online who sounds really nice then never ask to go on their contact list first. Always wait for them to ask if they can add you. If they are interested then they will ask.

2) If you receive a chat request from a guy you like or want to chat to. Always wait about 30 seconds before you accept it. It will have him wondering for a while if you are going to accept and creates an air of mystery. If you answer straight away then he'll think you're waiting for him to ask (which ok, you probably are, but he's not to know that!!)

3) Okay, so he's on your list now. When he appears on line, always wait for him to message you first.

4) Put your occupied sign up a lot. It'll keep him intrigued as to what you're up to. Okay, so you're probably downloading some programme for your dad but he might think you have other men you're chatting to & gives him something to think about.

5) Avoid the free for chat status. It makes you look too available.

6) If you use the away status a lot, leave an "I've gone for my shower" message. It's bound to get him dreaming!!

SIGNS THAT GUY ONLINE YOU LIKE ISN'T KEEN

1) You appear on line & he drops to the off line list.

2) You can't see him on line on your list but your best mate says he's on line on her list.

3) You send a message of depth and substance only to receive a *hi*, *cool* or *yeah* response back. (Don't you just hate that?)

4) He messages you to say that he's got the Melissa virus ..(more like he's got a Melissa in another chat! Grrrrrrr!)

5) You come on line & his away sign goes up.

6) You're both in chat & your PC asks you if you'd like to save the buffer.

8) He's having cybersex with your mate.
