Kara began to compose her reply to Ricky. They got chatting by MSN and she discovered that they shared the same sense of humour and that She could chat to him about anything and everything. He loved the internet as much as she did. Kara & Ricky formed an instant bond. She had never experienced anything like this before. Kara had met some great friends through the net, but had never thought it possible that you could have feelings for someone you haven't even met. She wanted to be with Ricky. She loved his soul, mind and beauty within. She did not care how he looked and Ricky told her that he felt the same way, several times, whilst they chatted on MSN until the early hours of the morning. Ricky told her where he lived and it turned out to be in the next street. Kara was amazed that the person she thought could be her soulmate, lived so close.

She logged off at 2am, buzzing with excitement. Just then, the phone rang.

"I've been trying to call you for ages, doll. Why didn't you come out tonight? You missed a great night," Marilyn's voice echoed on the line.

"I was erm .. having a quiet night in. I just didn't fancy it tonight. How did it go, then?" Kara asked her.

"Well, I had the pick of all the good lookers, but I just settled for one guy in the end, Rodney. He's a millionaire and he's buying me a new car tomorrow," Marilyn told her.

"That's nice. How was Vicky's boyfriend?" Kara asked.

"Vicky dumped him. He kept trying to get off with all the girls there".

"The rat, I knew he was a jerk," Kara replied.

"As for Rosy, all she did was talk about her latest vacuum cleaner," Marilyn told her. The call ended and Kara knew she had made the right choice by not having a night out that evening.

Kara decided to log back on to see if Tracy was still online, so she could tell her about Ricky. They were gossiping away on MSN, when all of a sudden, Ricky signed into MSN. Kara's heart skipped a beat to see that Ricky's name had appeared in her online list. She had read the "Girlies guide to men online" from webgirluk.com and decided to wait for him to message first. He did!! They chatted an hour more, and Kara became increasingly sure that he was the one!
