A red Fiesta car pulled up outside of Kara's house. It was Tracy. Kara had taken her up on her offer to do the 2 hour trip to meet her for the first time and have a good night out.
Tracy got out of the car, and Kara noticed that she was a lot taller than she imagined she would be. She also had long blonde hair. Kara had imagined her to have red hair for some reason. Tracy came to the door and Kara warmly greeted her.
"Kara, it's lovely to meet you, sweetie," she said.
"Come in, Tracy. Same here", Kara replied.
"So have you got any decent food in, love? I haven't eaten yet," Tracy asked as she walked into the kitchen and opened Kara's fridge. Kara was a little taken aback. She assumed that Tracy would have already eaten, but *kicked herself* for not considering that she may not have done. "There's nothing in here, is there?" Tracy bellowed.
"Er.. no, we can go out and get a bite to eat if you like?" Kara suggested. Kara gave Tracy a quick tour of the house first.
"How do you survive with such a pokey small living room?" Tracy asked her. Kara explained that although her living room wasn't some kind of showroom, it was really cosy and she liked it as it was very homely. They headed off towards the town to find somewhere suitable to eat.
"I've left my purse on your sofa,so looks like it's your treat, love," Tracy told her.
"That's no problem, Tracy, you are my guest after all," Kara replied feeling rather taken aback. They toured 10 places to eat - but they were either too cheap for Tracy or she didn't like the menu. Tracy then announced that she wanted to eat at "Bingles" the plushest restaurant in town - and most expensive! "Tracy, I only have £40, and that's for drinks as well.. there's no way I have enough for 'Bingles'," she informed her through gritted teeth.
"So .. withdraw some more money, then. You must have more stashed in the bank, seeing as from the look of your house, you don't exactly spend much on that, do you?", Tracy said with sarcasm. Kara withdrew more money, and they went into "Bingles". They enjoyed their meal, but when Kara nipped to the loo, she decided to text message Vicky.
"She's a nightmare," Kara typed onto a text message for Vicky's reading. They finished their meal and Kara told Tracy that she was going to collect the bill. Kara went to the cash desk.
"I have to catch my taxi. My friend there is taking care of everything," Kara told them - and walked out.
When she got home, she found no sign of a purse at all, which didn't surprise her. Kara thought that it was just a shame that in person she and Tracy "didn't get on".
